Histoire et origine
Le Château Cheval Blanc est situé au sein de l’appellation Saint-Emilion. Au XVIIIème siècle, l’actuel terroir de Cheval blanc comportait une importante surface de vigne. En 1998, Monsieur Bernard Arnault et Baron Albert Frère acquièrent le prestigieux domaine. La propriété forme un ensemble homogène d’un seul tenant, à la limite de l’appellation Pomerol. La qualité exceptionnelle de son terroir offre des vins qui ont une identité organoleptique très marqué. Château Cheval Blanc compte au cours des siècles passé, le plus grand nombre de millésimes exceptionnels qu’aucun autre grand cru classé.
